It’s that time of year again…running season! Actually, running season is 365 days a year, but now there are races happening every weekend practically. So, it’s race season. And I am smack-dab in the middle of training for my second half marathon. I’m doing the exact same training plan I did last year, and I’m back up to 7 miles again. Halfway there!
There’s many important things to do when you’re logging lots of miles each week – proper shoes, stretching, ice, WATER, etc., but my personal most important? Music. If you follow along with me in any of my online sectors, particularly this blog, you know music fuels my workdays and my workouts. So, without further ado, more songs for YOU to run to (or walk to) this race season. (I’ll be posting my official playlist after the half in May.)

Oh you’ve got some great ones in here,as well as some that I’m not familiar with. You have 2 of my favs, A Little Less Conversation by Elvis and Pump it Up by the other Elvis. 🙂 Some of my oldies that young folk may not know but are great for kicking yourself into gear are “Johnny Be Good”, “Devil with the blue dress on”, “My baby does the hanky panky”. Also love Black Eyed Peas “My Humps” and Muses “supersonic black hole”.
Music is such a big part of my life – it can totally make or break my day. And for exercising it’s a MUST!!
Great post, thanks!
