I love a good athleisure look. And in 2020, athleisure is all I wear, really. So that’s why I was pumped when our local Athleta at Ross Park Mall reached out and asked if I’d like to do a shopping event yesterday for their Friends & Family Sale!
As someone who frequents shopping all the Gap Inc. brands (a lot of my clothes are from Old Navy), shopping Athleta is a no-brainer. Plus, Athleta offers petite sizing which not many athleisure and athletic brands do. I constantly have to roll my leggings under and sleeves are too long, so having an option to shop petite is a score (I am 4’11”!) They also have size options for plus & tall.
Here are my picks from the Friends & Family Sale and what I’ll be living in this fall as I work — and workout — from home:
Coaster Luxe Sweatshirt – so comfy and I love me some thumb holes. Available in tons of colors.
Studio to Street Print Sweatshirt (noted as Splatter Sweatshirt in store) – so cozy! Perfect to pair with leggings.
Salutation Jogger – I am wearing regular here but would definitely get petite. You can dress these up or down. And they come in multiple colors.
Whisper Featherless Jacket – perfect as the temps are starting to drop and I can throw on to walk the dog or run to the store. Another option that comes in different sizes (petite will help in the baggy arm situation for me!) You can also pull this tighter at the bottom for a more fitted look.
Conscious Crop – I love this top and will be perfect to wear on the Peloton with leggings or bike shorts. I got this camo option and paired it with matching leggings too for a head to toe camo look. I also just saw they have post-mastectomy friendly bra options. So cool.
As you can see, I am having a mauve moment with my color choices. So many great pieces that are high-quality and will last me a long time. And, I love shopping the Gap brands online since you can toggle between them and do all in one checkout. If you missed the Friends & Family sale, sign up for Athleta emails and you can still take 20% off your first purchase. Thanks, Athleta for having me!
