Let's Get Visual: Using Images to Amplify Your Social Media Strategy

06/03/2013 by Deanna +

The other day, I had the opportunity to present at Visit Pittsburgh’s yearly social media conference, “Tweet, Like + Be Social,” at the Pittsburgh Public Theater. This all-day event included some stellar presentations from the ladies of eatPGH, ModCloth, Simply Fluid , YELP Pittsburgh and more. In my presentation, I talked about how important visuals are in social media. Did you know the brain processes an image 60,000 times faster than text? Having a strategy of creating and curating images can most definitely amplify your social efforts, and in my presentation I discussed setting up your strategy, measuring your efforts, plus case studies of some of my favorite visual brands.
Here’s the presentation.

Questions? Comments? Concerns? Email me. I’d love to chat more about the deck.

Thanks to Visit Pittsburgh for having me and to all who sat in and tweeted about my presentation!
